Help > Shipping & Delivery PLACING AN ORDER Orders are processed on business days only from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. E.S.T. to 4 p.m. E.S.T., excluding holidays. CONTACT AND RECIPIENT INFORMATION Please provide proper contact and recipient information, including addresses and phone numbers. We cannot guarantee delivery if incorrect address information is provided. We require the recipient's phone number to ensure that they will be available to accept the delivery. If the recipient (at a residential address) is not available for delivery, the gift basket will be left at their front door. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the recipient can accept the delivery. The Treasure Basket is NOT responsible for missing gift baskets if the gift basket was delivered and left at the address provided and the recipient is away for an indefinite time, i.e. on holiday We require full address and telephone number for the recipient. If the address of the recipient is wrong, the gift basket will be returned, and we will charge the purchaser twice for delivery. Refunds are not available when The Treasure Basket is provided with an incorrect shipping address. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION Our gift baskets are shipped to Canada only. We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. United Parcel Service (UPS) is our preferred carrier. We offer UPS STANDARD and UPS EXPRESS SAVER services. For residential deliveries, UPS will leave the package at the front door of a residence without obtaining a signature. UPS will not release packages that are shipped to commercial addresses, apartment/condominium complexes without a signature. UPS will make 3 attempts to complete a delivery for no additional charge. A notice that delivery has been attempted will be left at the recipient's address after the first and second attempts. After the third attempt, the package will be returned to The Treasure Basket. If the package has been returned to us and you wish to have it shipped again, you will be charged again for the shipping costs. SHIPMENT NOTIFICATION Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation along with an UPS tracking number via e-mail so you may monitor the progress of your gift. HOSPITAL DELIVERIES When placing an order for a hospital delivery, please ensure the complete address and exact location of the patient. If the patient has been discharged, or moved to another room, there will be an additional charge to deliver your gift to the new location. HOLIDAY DELIVERY INFORMATION Please note that shipping delays may occur during holiday season periods. You will be contacted either via e-mail or phone if shipping delays are foreseen. During busy holiday times, please allow an extra few days for processing and delivery of your gift baskets, due to the high volume of orders. We advise you to order early, and let us know a specific delivery date. TRANSIT TIMES UPS STANDARD transit times are used as guidelines only and are NOT GUARANTEED. The day your gift basket is shipped does not count as a transit day. Montreal & surrounding areas: 1-2 business days Quebec & Ontario: 2-4 business days Eastern provinces (NS,NB,NFLD,PEI): 5-7 business days Western provinces (BC,AB,MB,SK): 6-8 business days WEATHER We cannot guarantee delivery due to unforeseen weather conditions. |
